Reviews for Kenya safari and Uganda gorilla trekking

review 23 Oct 2019

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

It was all great. I loved the Masai Mara from the hot-air balloon, the rhinos up close and personal in Uganda and the gorilla tracking experience.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Be ready for long transfers and enjoy the road and its wonderful landscapes

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Definitely yes, the company is local and so are all the people working in it and the lodges are locally owned. The park fees are used for conservation projects; the rhyno sanctuary in particular is a project to reintroduce rhynos into the wild in Uganda where they are extinct.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Well organized apart from some miscalculations in the program, promptly corrected by the drivers and the local office chief in Uganda. The drivers, Moussa and Ivan, were excellent.
