1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
We loved getting to hike on trails that hardly anyone else was on. We felt like we saw parts of the Cycladic islands we visited that not many people get to see.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
When booking a tailor made self-guided trip like ours, don't be afraid to follow up on small details.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes! We loved staying at local family owned inns and felt that many places we visited were not over-touristed.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

The solitude of walking the Menalon Trail2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be aware that if you walk the trail out of season there may only be one taverna open in each village with a limited menu.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes it benefited local people as we stayed in local accommodation and ate at local tavernas. As for reducing environmental impacts and supporting conservation .... only by the simplicity of the walks and the enjoynment of the environment.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the Menalon Trail and would recommend it to anyone of reasonable fitness, it is an experience. I would like to suggest that the signage needs attention on the final walk. We wasted an hour searching for the trail signs on the road above Valtesiniko on the final stretch to Lagkadia. The descent into Lagkadia also needs better signage from the viewpoint of the village around the hill to descent.Holiday Reviews
