1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

All of it and seeing what I have wanted to see for years! The operator packed a lot in and ensured we saw sites at their best and at the right time of day.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

This is an excellent company who look after their travellers. Peru is not an easy option and requires some support on a first visit in terms of organising long distance travel to different sites etc. within (for me) a reasonable budget

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

It did benefit local guides who were very knowledgable and extremely helpful on many occasions. Particularly as I was travelling alone. Also local drivers who, on the whole, were brilliant. Not sure about environmental impacts. I saw deserts awash with plastic so this needs addressing as we all know. The staff on the Inca Trail were amazing and protected it and others carefully logged who went on (and off!) the trails and where. Macchu Pichu it is a bit like a theme park which is a shame but I gather access is going to be limited further so good - it needs protecting.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

The tour more than exceeded my expectations.

Getting to Macchu Picchu which has been a dream of mine for years.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Go with an open mind, try everything!

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

The fact that local guides were used was a great way of helping the community. We were encouraged to be economic and think about our waste so yes.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

It was my first time booking with a tour and I'd certainly do it again!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The whole trip has been the most fantastic experience, we cannot actually pick out any single part of it which stood out more than any other. We have never had such a varied range of experiences and adventure in one trip before. Incredible journey.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Go!!!! If you take American Dollars ensure that the notes are in pristine condition, they majority of exchange places will not accept any note then shows any sign (no matter how small) of damage. The main banks in the larger towns/cities will accept damaged notes but obviously being a bank the rate will be slightly lower. All the main towns/tourist areas have recycle bins for plastics/paper/organic waste but unfortunately rubbish management is not yet high on the locals priorities so be prepared to see rubbish literally everywhere!

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

We believe so, you have the opportunity to buy souvenirs/products from local people in many places which obviously supports them and their families directly. The authorities are working to support the conservation and maintenance of important areas/ historic sites whilst also facilitating access to encourage tourism, they are trying hard to maintain this balance between both as the country needs the income generated from this.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

One of the best experiences of our lives!
