1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The Wildlife at Masai Mara, it is probably second to none. The bush walks in other national parks and conservancy such as the Soysambu Conservancy was also amazing.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

To ensure that the travel agency they travel with is complying with all regulations and ensure that all the agreed points are clear for everybody in order not to create any misunderstandings. We went only two people and could discuss with the guide what we wanted to see and avoid the more populated areas. Mixing the Safari by car at Masai Mara/Serengeti with some days trekking is a good way to get closer to nature in the places where trekking is allowed/safe. The environment is very fragile and visited by many tourists. Make sure to travel with agencies which you can be sure comply with the highest possible standards in terms of responsibility towards nature and the local community. Double check if possible any reference. We travelled with this operator and were very pleased in all respects.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

I felt it minimized the impact on the environment to the extent possible. We tried to stay only at eco camps. Although the term ecocamp is being utilized by many (and too many actually) I was of the impression that it really was environmentally sustainable.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

The best way to see the Wild life in Eastern Africa and the best way to go on Safari. If trekking was possible through the Masai Mara this would have been the only better way to see these amazing animals. For obvious reasons trekking is not possible and going in a car is the second best option.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The safari and a very nice guide named Jackson from the tour operator. The guide was always there in time and very helpful.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Book with your own car and guide and also be picked up at airport etc. I take so much time of your holyday if you must do this on you own.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, and minimized impacts on the environment?

Absolutely!
