1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The gite was lovely - for our 18 month old daughter the highlight was definitely the chickens! For us the highlight was being able to open the door to a beautiful, quiet garden and relax while she could safely explore.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Definitely book! Nicole and Alex have created a beautiful place to stay and have really thought about their guests. From the age appropriate toys left out for the children, to the welcome basket and the bikes to borrow, it really is a luxurious home away from home. Definitely brave the hills and bike down to the village, the countryside is stunning and the hills on the way back are not as bad as you fear!

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes, it felt very much as though they were part of the local community, the steps they have taken to reduce the environmental impact were very impressive - top tip - read the rubbish instructions when you arrive!

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Excellent - we had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay, it is definitely somewhere we would head back to.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Amazing. A lovely cottage with lovely owners who couldn't do enough to help. We received a lovely warm welcome. The cottage was immaculate. Everything had been thought of. We were travelling with a 10 month old and the cottage had all the necessary equipment and lovely toys. The garden with it's swings and trampoline was fabulous too.
