Luxury yurt accommodation in Lanzarote, Canary Islands
It is a wonderful place for a family holiday with small children and a great place to recharge your batteries. (more)Alison Brookes Day
Fabulously relaxing, beautiful island, relaxed yet very responsive hosts. A great experience...Great for kids with donkey rides, missions to collect eggs every day, and to hang out with other kids on the communal trampoline, pirate boat and playground. (more)Michelle Levene
Most memorable were the rural location with an opportunity to see the landscape and vegetation. The space, both our private area around our yurt and outside where the kids were free to play on the trampoline and meet the chickens and donkey. The smallness of the resort and the uncrowded beach. The morning bike ride into the village for bread. (more)Roos Eisma
From €1225 - €1610 per week (sleeps 2-4)
Alaska wilderness lodge
Our vacation was a dream come true. Owner, Keith has built the whole place by hand with logs he found on the nearby beaches. What he has done is remarkable and his wife Randi adds the special touches that make the place really feel like being home. (more)Lynn Kelly
Our cabin was comfortable, the view from our bed was to die for!!! Snow covered mountains on each side, ocean in between, dolphins and otters playing in the cove, islands and a steaming volcano in the distance. (more)Phyllis Sarayusa

Yurt holiday accommodation in Lanzarote, Canary Islands
The most memorable part was watching my daughter see the stars for the first time! Zero light pollution! Also, I was so surprised by how much there was to do on the island. Nice to wake up each day and know it was going to be sunny and dry! (more)Angellique Sunter
We really enjoyed the boat trip to Isle Graciosa – the operator organised it. We went on a RIB speed boat to get there, then went snorkelling, walking through the town and a beautiful lunch. (more)Michelle Christensen
Absolutely lovely. It is probably a huge cliche but seeing the children laughing and playing by themselves and with new friends meant I was more relaxed - it all just ticked over perfectly and resulted in a great holiday. (more)Kate Macnab

Nimes self catering gite in the South of France
The most memorable part was kayaking under the Pont du Gard and visiting Sainte-Marie de la Mer but also eating outside, relaxing with wine and olives and meeting new people. (more)Heather Muchamore
Stunning, unspoilt countryside all around, and surprisingly few tourists for the time of year, (August). A truly eco-relaxed holiday, which we can thoroughly recommend. (more)Joanna Blake
My wife and I really needed a holiday where we could relax absolutely. This holiday provided it because we were left alone, put under no pressure, but always made to feel welcome by our hosts. (more)John Stevenson

Cave hotel in Cappadocia, Turkey
Memorable parts? Everything was memorable, starting with the emails from Abdullah from the hotel whilst we were planning our trip, then the welcome we received on arrival at 11.00pm at night, the meal that had been prepared for us at that late hour, the rooms that we and our 2 friends stayed in, the amazing buffet breakfast each morning, Fathi the waiter who happily laid up a table for us on the terrace for dinner on warmer evenings & always emphasised that Gamirasu was our home, then there... From our arrival by boat through the mangroves through to our departure three days later, we loved our time at the lodge. We were the only guests staying there at the time and we received a high level of care from owners Dan and Holly. (more)Helen Potts
The lodge is beautifully situated and reaching it via the river felt like an added adventure. (more)Janet Baseley
The best part of my holiday was that is was, simply, relaxing. That's what I was looking for. Dan and Holly at the lodge really took care of me, and the dogs were a great addition to my walks. (more)Michael Allbritton

Memorable parts? Arriving.. After a relatively long journey, the peace and tranquility of the location was like arriving in heaven. A sense of expanded time. Tips? Be prepared for deep peace (!).
