Wow - what an amazing short trip we had to Marrakech and the High Atlas Mountains. Memorable parts? We absolutely loved hiking in the Atlas Mountains, with our wonderful guide, through Berber villages and seeing the amazing land of Morocco. Mountain biking holidays in England
Memorable parts? It was great to see the fantastic scenery and villages of the South West and this was just the mountain biking challenge I was looking for, both in terms of technical skill and fitness. The guides were very helpful (e.g. we got a lesson in bike maintenance) and friendly. They provided fantastic snacks and picnic lunches for us en route and went out of their way to buy the group's food requests. Day 3 was definitely the best with superb weather, stunning views over the Bristol... (more)Helena Posnett

Coast to coast self guided cycling holiday in England
Memorable parts? Hmmm, so many good bits. Seeing such diverse parts of the country with such different landscapes - all within 140 miles; having the route to ourselves most of the time; meeting the challenge of a three-day cycle with quite a lot of big hills; meeting lovely people; great B&Bs etc. I will definitely remember the torrential rain... Tips? If you have the time, consider taking an extra day. We underestimated how long it would take to complete each day's ride and would... (more)Biddy Walcot

Halong Bay cruises, 2 day cruise, Vietnam
Memorable parts? Sitting on the deck of the Red Dragon 1 in the morning and watching the islands in Halong Bay go by. Tips? Do not select a second-rate company for seeing Halong Bay. I talked to other people whose experience was not as wonderful as mine because they missed the fishing village and being on a beautifully finished and equipped junk. Local benefits? Definitely. I saw the projects that were benefited, including the picking up of garbage in Halong Bay. Overall... (more)Sarah Schmidt

Learn to dive in Sardinia, Italy
One of the most memorable parts of my trip was a snorkelling excursion along the Golfo di Orosei. Along the way, as we sailed past all the stunning beaches and caves, Cinzia gave us plenty of information about the geography and nature along the coast, but all in a very humorous and fun way. Once in the crystal clear water we were lucky enough to see a couple of weird and wonderful creatures. (more)Christine Morton

The husky dog sledding, the ice climb, the snowshoeing itself, being out in such a beautiful environment! And our companions too - the other four people in the party were lovely, and we all got on very well together - enough in common to bond yet different enough for good conversation! (more)Angela Dennison
In terms of the most exciting part, it has to be the ice climbing...not part of our original plans but I'm so glad it was suggested. Slow down and enjoy your stay in what really is an undiscovered part of the Alps. (more)Norma Sherratt

The most memorable and exciting part of the holiday was drinking nettle beer as the sun went down on the Saturday night. Wine tasting holiday in the Loire Valley
Memorable parts? France, The Loire Valley, wine tasting March 8 - 2011. The good memories started from our very first contact with responsible travel. They put us in touch with Mark and his wife and the wonderful chateau they live in which became our B@B for 3 nights. I felt we were visiting friends at the wineries because of Mark's relationship with the small vintners. We learned lots and drank some excellent wines.
