Memorable parts? The stunning scenery and peaceful moorings. The wildlife especially the seals and beautiful shoals of jellyfish floating like alien creatures in a calm sea. The first ever fish caught by one of our party - a splendid mackerel! The delicious food and good company of Michael and Colette. The successful descent into the dinghy of a nervous member of our party - if she can do it with Michael's patient help anyone can. Raising and lowering the anchor - tying knots and rope throwing... Wolf tracking in Sweden
Memorable parts? This tour was memorable for all of the right reasons. If the aim of the company is to ensure guests 'collect memories not things' then they certainly delivered. The ethereal scenery sets the tone for the tour, each day going with the flow of nature and it's wildlife. The anticipation of finding tracks or wildlife sightings is all part of the fun. It is food for the soul. A night hike and Marcus' howling is something quite special. The guest house Pensionat Udden is a home... (more)Rachel North

Scotland craft weekends, felt making & natural dyeing
Memorable parts? The location was superb with amazing views overlooking the glen. We learned fascinating traditional skills, collecting lichens and bracken fronds from the woods and making up a wide range of natural dyes, using open wood fires. We dyed fleeces and fabric, mixing our colours, which were astonishingly vibrant and ready to take on to the next step for spinning or felting. Iceland activity holidays
Memorable parts? Hot Spring hunt and heritage tour plus horse riding The glacier walk, the visits to the waterfalls and Vik Bay. Tips? Sami people winter holiday in Norway with ice hotel
Memorable parts? As we came out of the woodland and onto the frozen lake, the thrill of running a team of 8 huskies gave way to awe at the sheer magical beauty of the landscape. The trees were heavy with snow, everything was white, touched by the light of the low sun. I have never felt so alive. Tips? Don't skimp on the layers!
