Kenya wildlife camping safari
We were of course expecting to enjoy seeing the wildlife, but our week's holiday provided much more than that. The Porini camps we stayed at were wonderful - eco-friendly, lovely setting on private conservancies, employing people from the local Massai communities. (more)Anna Economides
This was the best vacation I have ever taken! I tell everyone to just go. (more)Amanda Popik

Rwanda and Uganda wildlife holiday
An excellent holiday. We loved the itinerary and Eric our guide was helpful, knowledgeable and very patient. Everything was arranged beautifully by the holiday provider in advance and we had a fantastic holiday. (more)Emma Easton
From email communication to booking to arriving to meeting our driver/guide to exploring wonderful Rwanda to meeting the mountain gorillas and many more animals to staying in comfortable places to returning to the airport, it was all just perfect and smooth. (more)Julian King
Tops!!!! No problems, no hitches, well organized, great guide! It was one of those vacations where almost every single moment is memorable. Certainly meeting the mountain gorillas is a very big deal, but I was also just driving through villages and watching warthogs dig in the grass. (more)Lori Blumenthal

South Africa Safari holiday, 14 days
Five stars! It was, as stated, the adventure of a lifetime, which we were expecting, but we did not plan to gain so much more, in the way of making friends and feeling a part of missions that transcended mere tourism. (more)Tania Modleski
We had so many memorable experiences. Watching a beautiful leopard and her cub was up there, as was spending an hour watching six young elephants play in a waterhole. (more)Ellen Weiss
10/10 it was amazing. We were so well looked after and treated as part of the family at our main resort. it was very hectic as we stayed at 6 locations so it involved a lot of travelling. but now we are back, we realise how much we packed in and how much we saw. it was a trip of a lifetime for us, so we really appreciate all the things we gained from our trip and are now saving hard to go again!! (more)SUE NEWMAN

Big game safari in Tanzania
The time spent on Chumbe was so relaxing in on idyllic paradise Island & with it's eco ethics it is a place with a truly great purpose. (more)Becky Jones
Everywhere we looked there were birds: on the water's edge, in the air, perched in trees. Crocodiles slipped into the water and there were pods of hippos, plus giraffes, elephants, buffalo and impala. (more)Joanne Davenport
For me most memorable was arriving at Mwagusi and seeing elephant, giraffes and abundant wildlife en route from airstrip to camp; for Toby it was seeing a leopard resting in a tree (Ruaha). (more)Claire Roberts

Very good...I enjoyed both the safari in Serengeti and the diving in Mafia very much (more)Marina Poletto
Fantastic! Amazing! Awe inspiring! The trip of a lifetime! Our most memorable moments were our interactions with the local people. Even though we booked this safari to see the Serengeti, we also wanted to make sure we spent an equal amount of time visiting and getting to know the people of Tanzania. We will forever hold in our hearts how warm and inviting everyone was. (more)Teresa VandenBosch
Fantastic. It was the perfect family holiday with a 12 year old and 14 year old. Always plenty to do, loads of variety, but never rushed. (more)Rebecca Rowland

Gorillas!!!!!. Interacting with them was the most exceptional experience elf my life and the biggest adrenaline rush I have ever had. Its is without comparison. The Masai Mara was amazing, will decamping was a buzz and White water rafting on the Nile was an amazing experience but being close to the African people(especially the happy kids) and not isolated in 5 star resorts made the trip a once in a lifetime experience. We had fantastic animals encounters in several places including Mosi oa Tunya, Mahango, Etosha and Chobe. Okavango Delta tailor made safari in Botswana
Memorable parts? Up close and personal with the wild animals on safari Tips? Can be cold on the morning game drives and take DEET insect repellent. Don't have too high expectations of animal sightings and then everything is a real treat. Local benefits? Very eco friendly, solar power and recycling etc. All staff were locals and seemed to really enjoy their work. Overall rating? Excellent. Not cheap but we didn't need to spend any extra money except for tips and... (more)Janet Gaten

Tanzania wildlife, people and beach holiday
A marvellous holiday that exceeded expectations in all areas! Most memorable was the incredible wildlife in both Selous and Ruaha national Parks, plus the coral reefs we saw around Mafia Island - truly spectacular. Lack of other tourists was a major plus. (more)Liz Taylor
Everything was wonderful. The setting perhaps captures most of it - staying in beautiful places in the midst of the national parks and conservation areas, where the animals were everywhere (from in camp to close by during game drives). (more)Laura Dukess
We were lucky enough to see a cheetah hunting a gazelle. Unfortunately the cheetah was unsuccessful but it made the hairs stand up on the back of your neck and you really felt the thrill of the chase watching the animals in action. (more)Ilana Howley

Most memorable was having such close contact with the animals as the lodges were not enclosed. In Ruaha River Lodge a male elephant crossed the river while we sat watching from our verandah and went beside our house to wander round the lodge. (more)Sheila Lucas
There were too many moments, the entire trip was memorable and exciting. I absolutely adored Sable Mountain Lodge, it was beautiful and relaxing. (more)Lisa Schooley
Having an elephant peer through the door of our banda was quite a surprise, but my favourite part was meeting lots of locals and learning bits of Swahili and tribal dialect...Tempted to give it five stars! Probably joint first with a long trip to Belize. (more)Jo Maw

Holidays to Uganda
Memorable parts? Getting close to gorillas in their forest home will be unforgettable. The Nile boat trips are excellent also. Tips? Just go. Don't expect to see lots of big cats (although we did see some lions and leopards) - but seeing the gorillas is very special and the rest of the wildlife is great also. Local benefits? Benefits local people only in so far that hotels and guiding provide jobs. Benefits the environment because visitors create a reason for the national... (more)Gerard O'Hanlon

Memorable parts? Every day was a different wonder but the two days wild camping at the Okavanga Delta were really special. Tips? Be prepared for very early starts and not much relaxing times. Local benefits? Yes, local guides were used in a number of locations but obviously driving such long distances is not exactly environmentally friendly. Overall rating? Excellent. Overland tour of Kenya to Rwanda, gorillas and gameparks
Memorable parts? Seeing the gorillas. Visiting the Pygmy village. Tips? Bring long trousers and T-shirts to cover up in Uganda. Pack lightly as there is laundry at the campsite. Local benefits? Yes, particularly when visiting the Pygmy village and the Kenyan school. My trip was the first 19 days of a longer 75 day tour. Whilst I did not go on this activity I know that later in the longer tour they go on a lion walk. I would urge you to research the company that runs this... (more)Genevieve Isherwood

The highlight was seeing wildlife at really close quarters - the time the leopard strolled through our camp. (more)Lis Woods
The holiday was fantastic, wildlife great, the food excellent and although no mod cons you soon realise how little we really need to live day to day and how much we take for granted over here. A very satisfying holiday. Would go again. (more)John/Cathy Baldock
The most memorable part of the holiday was the locations of the campsites. Right there in the midst of the wildlife... we drifted off to sleep to the sounds of hippo's deep bellied chuckles, lion's roars and elephant's trumpeting. Magical! (more)Janet Hammond
