Tanzania holiday, safari, culture and wildlife 7 days
Very good...I enjoyed both the safari in Serengeti and the diving in Mafia very much (more)Marina Poletto
Fantastic! Amazing! Awe inspiring! The trip of a lifetime! Our most memorable moments were our interactions with the local people. Even though we booked this safari to see the Serengeti, we also wanted to make sure we spent an equal amount of time visiting and getting to know the people of Tanzania. We will forever hold in our hearts how warm and inviting everyone was. (more)Teresa VandenBosch
Fantastic. It was the perfect family holiday with a 12 year old and 14 year old. Always plenty to do, loads of variety, but never rushed. (more)Rebecca Rowland
From US $1860 - US $2480 excluding flights
Malawi tailor made holiday
The most memorable part was locating and visiting Rita's brother's grave in Blantyre. Huntingdon House and meeting Chip. Safaris at Mvuu Camp...Excellent - the trip of a lifetime for all of us. (more)John Christie

From £2195 - £2245 excluding flights
Cape Town to Victoria Falls small group tour
Memorable parts? Driving with Makoros (traditional wood boot) to our wild camping in the Okavango Delta observed by hippos. Tips? Take thermal underwear with you when going on this trip in Africa's winter. The temperature at night was sub zero and morning/evenings were cold as well. Local benefits? Yes, we contributed to the local economy and tried to leave only foot prints. Overall rating? Even I am not reborn I would give 5 stars. It was one of my best holidays... (more)Sigrid Pach

South Africa Safari holiday, 14 days
This was a fantastic, very well organized holiday. There was always a lot going on but we saw a lot and learned a lot. All the guides and hosts at the lodges were very knowledgable and passionate about the wildlife and very open to sharing their knowledge and experiences with all of us. (more)Amanda Hathway
It was an amazing experience! Thank to all the staff , the guides and everybody else we had a full, safe contact with the animals in a completely wild environment. My kids came back happy and full of enthusiasm, and they actually learnt a lot, I have now two young wildlife experts! (more)Gaia Bertocci Marsicola
Excellent. The planning and execution of the entire holiday was superb. Everybody involved helped to make this a most memorable experience and we were extremely well looked after at all times. (more)Janet Thomas
From £2395 - £2695 excluding flights
South Africa holiday, Cape Town, Winelands & Kruger safari
Memorable parts? It was all brilliant. But two most memorables, I think. First was staying at the Fugitives Drift Lodge. I've never felt so immediately at home anywhere in my life. The staff were highly professional and efficient wherever we went in KwaZulu-Natal but at the Drift they added a real family atmosphere, lots of personal touches. So we're currently looking for an excuse to go back!! Second was the Turtle Tour at St. Lucia. We'd been properly warned that we might not actually find... (more)Dave McCall
From £3095 - £3495 including UK flights
Rwanda and Uganda wildlife holiday
I am still what reeling from the experience but having traveled to 146 countries, I would rate Rwanda as a jewel. Without a doubt the trek to see the gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda, was the most amazing experience we enjoyed. (more)Arlene Sword
It was a wonderful experience to see how the peoples of Africa live, work and play as well as observing their incredible wildlife (more)Colin Stevens
From US $2850 - US $3800 excluding flights
Luxury camping safari in Botswana
Memorable parts? The wildlife, the stunning location of our accommodation was truly memorable. Tips? Go to the bushcamps! Its fab. Local benefits? During our stay, we learnt a lot about the different local projects the provider of this holiday is involved with - we thought it was quite extensive. Environmentally, the solar-powered bushcamp was definitely the most ecological of the 3 camps we stayed at. Overall rating? A truly unique experience. Great service pre-booking.... Gorilla Safari & the Masai Mara
Every day was fabulous always something different... travelling with like minded people was also a good thing. (more)Valerie Koppi
Gorillas!!!!!. Interacting with them was the most exceptional experience elf my life and the biggest adrenaline rush I have ever had. Its is without comparison. The Masai Mara was amazing, will decamping was a buzz and White water rafting on the Nile was an amazing experience but being close to the African people(especially the happy kids) and not isolated in 5 star resorts made the trip a once in a lifetime experience. (more)Mark Asquith
It was excellent. I would go again tomorrow... it was such a fabulous trip from the start in Kigali to the end in Nairobi. Seeing the gorillas was obviously so special and memorable and the rafting in jinja was an unexpected highlight. Also the people in my group and our fabulous exodus team who were to efficient, friendly, patient and organised. (more)Sally Knowles-Jackson
From £2969 - £3369 including UK flights
Kenya wildlife camping safari
We were of course expecting to enjoy seeing the wildlife, but our week's holiday provided much more than that. The Porini camps we stayed at were wonderful - eco-friendly, lovely setting on private conservancies, employing people from the local Massai communities. (more)Anna Economides
This was the best vacation I have ever taken! I tell everyone to just go. (more)Amanda Popik

Tanzania and Kenya biking holiday
Memorable parts? Biking itself and meeting the locals on the way was fascinating enough, but camping on Masai grounds and talk to the villagers was a bonus on top. I definitely enjoyed the variety of biking tracks and terrains and the game drives were fantastic. Tips? Well, be in good condition, have a bit of biking practise beforehand and go for some uphills. Otherwise you will struggle a bit... Bring a camera with a decent zoom. If you want luxury this is not for you! Local... (more)Roman Holderbach

7 day big five safari in South Africa
Individual highlights are too many to mention but one consistent one was the look on the girls faces when we found something special on a game drive...Fantastic, well organised and great value for money. (more)Neil Wilson
Seeing the wild animals up-close and at the same time knowing we were supporting conservation and research. It was also great to stay at the researchers camp and see how researcher life is in the field and help them out a bit. The camera trap location I chose even got a picture of a leopard! It was much more memorable and gratifying then staying at typical tourist hotels. (more)Amy Cannata
The most memorable parts were seeing some amazing animals and birds very close: special high points include the excitement of tracking leopard and seeing a young male, setting camera traps and seeing what had wandered past (yes, leopard!)...We have incredible memories that will last a lifetime. (more)Fiona Harland
From £1250 - £1350 excluding flights

Wildlife and cultural tour to Ethiopia
We had a wonderful time in Ethiopia and would recommend this holiday to anyone planning on touring in this remarkable country. (more)Judith Lumb
While in Turmi, we were able to watch the Hamer festivity where the boy marks his passage from boy to adult by jumping the bulls. Not fixed, or touristy. For me, easily the highlight of the trip! (more)David Whetham
All very exciting: churches on Lake Tana & in Lalibela, the castle of Gondar, stelae in Axum + visiting the Karo, Dorze, Mursi tribes and witnessing the bull-jumping ceremony of the Hamer people. Very fascinating and worth the effort. (more)Wei Liu

Zambia and Malawi tailor made safaris
Memorable parts? All days and trip were memorable, but above all watching elephants crossing the river 30 metres away from us having lunch in Old Mondoro. Tips? 1. I'd check the daily planning of the activities. Given the winter climate, the scheduling for the days was perhaps too relaxing, with a very long pause from 11.00/11.30 to 15.30/16.00 depending on the camp. 2. Definitely GO to Lower Zambesi: in any brochure or Web Sites is presented ad a second choise vs. South Luangwa,... (more)Vincenzo Bracciale

Cape Town to Victoria Falls camping safari
Memorable parts? Every day was a different wonder but the two days wild camping at the Okavanga Delta were really special. Tips? Be prepared for very early starts and not much relaxing times. Local benefits? Yes, local guides were used in a number of locations but obviously driving such long distances is not exactly environmentally friendly. Overall rating? Excellent. (more)christina monson

The most memorable part of the holiday was camping in Moremi, Okavango. (more)Lynn Houlding

Selous Game Reserve safari, Tanzania
Most memorable was having such close contact with the animals as the lodges were not enclosed. In Ruaha River Lodge a male elephant crossed the river while we sat watching from our verandah and went beside our house to wander round the lodge. (more)Sheila Lucas
There were too many moments, the entire trip was memorable and exciting. I absolutely adored Sable Mountain Lodge, it was beautiful and relaxing. (more)Lisa Schooley
Having an elephant peer through the door of our banda was quite a surprise, but my favourite part was meeting lots of locals and learning bits of Swahili and tribal dialect...Tempted to give it five stars! Probably joint first with a long trip to Belize. (more)Jo Maw

Excellent! The whole holiday was an adventure with a varied itinerary. The highlights must be seeing the wildlife in their natural habitats. (more)theresa mcaninch
The company made it so easy for us, from our first point of contact to confirming our final arrangements we encountered no problems. They were excellent.... Highly recommended. (more)Dorian Oates
There were too many high points to be able to select just one, but I would have to say that the amount of wildlife seen was generally amazing! (more)Shelley Munro Galloway

Okavango Delta safari in Botswana
The highlight was seeing wildlife at really close quarters - the time the leopard strolled through our camp. (more)Lis Woods
The holiday was fantastic, wildlife great, the food excellent and although no mod cons you soon realise how little we really need to live day to day and how much we take for granted over here. A very satisfying holiday. Would go again. (more)John/Cathy Baldock
The most memorable part of the holiday was the locations of the campsites. Right there in the midst of the wildlife... we drifted off to sleep to the sounds of hippo's deep bellied chuckles, lion's roars and elephant's trumpeting. Magical! (more)Janet Hammond
From £3079 - £3269 including UK flights
Garden Route holiday, tailor made, South Africa
Most memorable was being so close to wild animals on the game drives at Elephant Plains...Fantastic! (more)Yvonne Chapman
The Drakensberg mountains and Didima camp at Cathedral Peak provided a magical start to the holiday, with stunning scenery, fantastic hiking and lovely accommodation; we could easily have stayed much longer there. (more)Barbara Sykes
Some of the best highlights were - the penguins on Boulder Beach, Cape Point on a glorious day, staying with Hazel of Hazel's Homestays, the Real City tour in PE, Amakhala Lodge. (more)David Catherall
From £1630 excluding flights
Zambia safari in South Luangwa
The most memorable part was when we were driving up a rocky dry river to see white rhinos and when they smelled/heard us and started coming towards us, realized they could be a lot faster than us on this terrain. (more)Sven Jeanrenaud
The most exciting was the gorge swing & white river rafting in Victoria Falls as well as the night game drives following lions stalking prey in the Okavango. (more)Jean Pierre Kruger
From £3220 excluding flights
Tanzania wildlife, people and beach holiday
A marvellous holiday that exceeded expectations in all areas! Most memorable was the incredible wildlife in both Selous and Ruaha national Parks, plus the coral reefs we saw around Mafia Island - truly spectacular. Lack of other tourists was a major plus. (more)Liz Taylor
Everything was wonderful. The setting perhaps captures most of it - staying in beautiful places in the midst of the national parks and conservation areas, where the animals were everywhere (from in camp to close by during game drives). (more)Laura Dukess
We were lucky enough to see a cheetah hunting a gazelle. Unfortunately the cheetah was unsuccessful but it made the hairs stand up on the back of your neck and you really felt the thrill of the chase watching the animals in action. (more)Ilana Howley

Maasai Mara safari camp in Kenya
Memorable parts? Arriving in the village - the warmth of the welcome, the pleasure of staying in a manyatta (mud hut). Also the activities are wonderful - walks amongst the zebra, milking cows, firing bows and arrows, lighting fires. Really good fun!! Tips? I went for 4 nights - 2 in the camp and 2 in the village. The camp is great - paraffin lamps, good food and comfy beds. You can get the lie of the land and start to get to know your hosts. But don't miss out on staying in the village... (more)Helena Smith

Private vehicle safari in Tanzania
This was my third safari, but it was the one that most connected me to Tanzania. I was there primarily for tha animals but also wanted a holiday that benefited locals rather than international companies. This holiday achieved that but gave me so much more, I am now in love with Tanzania, it's stunning landscapes, its wildlife and its charming people. (more)Julia Runciman
Seeing Lions in the trees in Manyara and the Serengetti was the most memorable part of the holiday. (more)Sally Foote
Seeing leopards in the Serengeti was the most memorable part of the holiday (more)Susan Armstrong
From £1810 - £1955 excluding flights
KwaZulu Natal holiday, South Africa tailormade
Memorable parts? Thanda Game reserve has to be the most memorable although it was hard to pick a specific part of it. It was fantastic and we couldn't have been treated better or had a more pleasant experience ... we will be back. Tips? Book longer at Montusi and at Thanda and at Isandlwana, 2 nights is not long enough. Local benefits? Yes it did as all the places have created jobs for the local villagers and the goods sold in the gift shops are made by the local people. Overall... (more)Naomi Pegden

The time spent on Chumbe was so relaxing in on idyllic paradise Island & with it's eco ethics it is a place with a truly great purpose. (more)Becky Jones
Everywhere we looked there were birds: on the water's edge, in the air, perched in trees. Crocodiles slipped into the water and there were pods of hippos, plus giraffes, elephants, buffalo and impala. (more)Joanne Davenport
For me most memorable was arriving at Mwagusi and seeing elephant, giraffes and abundant wildlife en route from airstrip to camp; for Toby it was seeing a leopard resting in a tree (Ruaha). (more)Claire Roberts

There's so much in terms of both variety and number of experiences, it's hard to capture one moment. Dolphins, elephants, stampeding water buffalo, oh and the wonderful stars at night, and the warm, smiling people. It was all unforgetable. (more)Morag Reid
From £2759 - £3165 including UK flights
South Africa and Swaziland safari
Memorable parts? I had not expected to enjoy the safari part of my trip as much as I did. I loved seeing the animals in their natural habitat. On day we watched a mother cheetah hunting for her cub - it was thrilling. Everything in South Africa is about Nelson Mandela and I learned more about his life and the struggles of South Africans during the Apartheid era. Cape Town is truly a wonder of the world and the beaches on the Wild Coast were spectacular. Tips? Use your ATM card... (more)Patricia Ruble
