Wow! where would we start? Muba - a great and knowledgeable guide with a tremendous sense of humour, Jackson a terrific cook and again a great sense of humour. Stumbling upon elephants whilst walking to the viewpoint at the Serengeti park gates.

Kruger National Park was the most exciting - we saw absolutely everything there was to see - Rhino, Hippo, Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Crocodiles, Hyenas, Baboons, Water Buffalo, Impala, Wart Hogs, Kudu, Springbok and Birds too numerous to mention.

Tanzania was better than I could ever imagine! So many incredible animals and birds and the biggest crocs I have ever seen. For three nights we camped about 70 metres from the river Mara (and said crocs!)... The best I have ever been on.

It was a privilege to be involved in the wild dog rescue at Thanda Reserve when a poacher's snare was caught around her neck. Seeing the biggest tuskers when at Tembe was another highlight and identifying them was great fun.

Oh my goodness, there was such a kaleidoscope of wonderful memories, so many amazing vistas, experiences and moments it is hard to choose one. I will however, for me it was sitting at 5am at our lodge's floodlit waterhole and seeing a male lion, followed by his females, coming down to drink just yards away.

A very memorable trip in a beautiful country. The Ugandan people are very welcoming and the wildlife is spectacular.

Most memorable? Following the leopard going through the thick reeds of the dried riverbed... Being in the very middle of the 400 buffalos’ herd moving to another grazing field... Two gracious cheetah males crossing the tar road...

It was the most comfortable camping I have ever experienced. The tents were bigger than our bedroom, the food was incredible and the hot, private in-tent camp shower so refreshing. But we were truly out in the wild and could hear baboons near our camp and find elephant dung behind the tents.

The complete Namibian experience was really fantastic. I have been on 2 previous safaris, but this was certainly the best!

Most memorbale was almost walking into a zebra on my way to the toilet one night! The camping was challenging for me, but it was worth it to hear animals at night. 5 stars.

The game drives. Our whole point in going to Africa was seeing wildlife close up, and it was abundant. Both the Porini Camps on their private conservancies, and the Masai Mara National Preserve offered spectacular game viewing. We couldn't have asked for more.

We simply had an amazing experience and felt we were experiencing a bit of the real Africa. Relaxing, enlightening, full of laughter, full of food, great activities, great "room", great welcome. The whole experience really was unbelievable and we cannot wait to return.

The most amazing holiday I have ever had. Like staying in 5* hotels but only better. Can't wait to go back...Most memorable was having elephants feed right outside our camp, visiting a traditional Maasai Village and watching a lion chase a Zebra on a night drive.

There are very many wonderful bits to the holiday. I particularly enjoyed my time in Lesotho and the town tour there and the township tour in Oudtshoorn. I was very thrilled by the countryside.

There's so much in terms of both variety and number of experiences, it's hard to capture one moment. Dolphins, elephants, stampeding water buffalo, oh and the wonderful stars at night, and the warm, smiling people. It was all unforgetable.

We had a brilliant time in Namibia; it's a fantastic country with an amazing variety of scenery, wonderful birds and animals and a great climate... and can be enjoyed without too much hassle, important when travelling with 4 children.

Ethiopia is a beautiful country and confounds every expectation. Having Live Aid so firmly etched in my mind, I went expecting to see abject poverty and desert but instead found myself overwhelmed by the majestic landscapes and besotted with the independence and pride of the Ethiopians.
