It was amazing. Really the best one I've ever had. I loved the feel of the place and I felt really at home with out all the baggage of being at home (phone, computer, projects, piles of stuff...)

4.5 Stars---Bert knows what he's doing and understands the concept of mixing a bicycle trip with the opportunity to explore Southern Portugal --Have Fun...The trip was a pure and delightful adventure - The route was challenging in places and yet it was balanced overall.

The most memorable parts were being able to catch public transport to most places with a toddler; the fantastic location of the guesthouse; and the great innkeepers & their fantastic hospitality.

We had a great couple of days. The owners are really friendly and helpful. The yurt and it's garden area are completely private and self contained but near the owners home if you need anything.

I loved the time spent in Machico, its a lovely place to relax after a day walking. However, the best for me was the walking up in the North (I think it was the North) where Madeira is luscious and the scenery is spectacular.

One of the most satisfying I have been on. I was never over tired. There were no travel problems. The organizers / drivers were friendly and relaxed.

I'll always remember holding the loggerhead turtle when our scientist tagged him. But when we spotted sperm whales socialising, that was spectacular!

One of the best parts was meeting people with something in common with yourself. The most exciting part was going to St Peters festival and taking part in the traditional pottery game.

I rate the holiday as a wonderful experience, opening my eyes to many wonders that I could not have imagined. A fantastic experience.

For us it was five star because we really did find a little nook where the culture was pre-industrial, living concurrently with other lifestyles.

This was probably the best holiday I have ever been on. Both my son and I will never forget it. I absolutely relished being close to nature out at sea and on the island. I am definitely considering travelling to see more dolphins or whales in other parts of the world.

Excellent... Just the views on the walks were amazing. Also the company of the other members of the groups was fantastic and the tour leader was excellent.

We had the most fabulous weather. The first place we stayed, Quinta dos Valedos, was a really great start to the holiday, as Marie-Jose and Sergei are French Portuguese, and introduced us to many culinary specialities of the region, including carob and arbutus berry schnapps!

An excellent holiday that was well organised, friendly and informative...The most memorable part was a three hour trip out with three whole hours with a pod of Bottle Nose dolphins. The BEST THREE HOURS OF MY LIFE!!!!!!! Fantastic!

This was a moderately strenuous cycling trip for a family of 4, and we had great fun finding great places to eat, in the off-season around New Year's...Excellent choices of towns to visit, routes, and accommodations.

Waking up to the view over the valley from the cottage, swimming in the sea
in Porto, visiting the towns of Coimbra and Lisboa, trying out all of the coffee
shops, the beautiful countryside, spending days reading in the sun...Absolutely brilliant - want to be back!
