1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The Gorrupu Tiscali gorge walk and the amazing guide Michele who went out of his way to adapt our itinerary to the weather, ensure we enjoyed our trip even giving up his day off to drive us round the island to avoid the rain and what could have been a horrible day.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Ensure a good level of fitness Most walks include scrambling over rocks and a lot of inclines/ declines. Also the hotel at Dorgali is very basic bring with you any luxuries as they are not included with your toom.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, although more could be done. The hotel seemed keen to provide plastic water bottles with lunches and other plastic that could have been excluded.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
The hotel, particularly the manager, was below the standard required for even a basic hotel. We were cold most of the time which with wet clothes wasn’t pleasant. The feeling that it was being run on a shoe string was ever present.Jennifer Hendron review 31 May 2025
