very pleasantRead the operator's response here:
We are happy to read that you enjoyed your trip overall, especially the different wines! However, we will take note on your feedback regarding your thoughts
on sustainability on this tour, as, usually on all our trips, including the ones to Chile, we support local guides, accommodations, food vendors and, wherever
possible, visit and contribute to community-owned cooperatives and local social enterprises. We very much appreciate your lovely review and helpful
comments and we hope to have you on another one of our trips soon!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The first day of walking through beautiful countryside and lunching at a rustic and charming inn. The last day reaching Santiago with the group. Our leader, David, was fantastic and helped a pretty disparate group bond and succeed.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Walking long distances for 6 days straight takes a toll on your feet even if your shoes are broken in. Take a second pair to alternate stress points. Prepare to sprint across the Madrid airport as you have to go through immigration before catching your flight to La Coruna. The tour operator gave no advice on this process.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Supported a lot of cafes and hotels. Hotels seemed pretty green in terms of plastic use.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
I enjoyed the camaraderie of the group and the other Camino walkers. Our leader, David, was absolutely wonderful. He was always cheerful and funny while also being professional and organized; very knowledgeable and organized; finding the best places to stop for coffee and eat in the evenings; being sensitive to the needs of individuals in the group, like me, who faced some difficulties. Even though I was in pretty good shape and didn't have a problem with the length of the daily walks per se, at 74 I was the oldest and slowest. I would suggest the tour operator look into a walk for the over 65 year olds and add a rest day in the middle. Just a note to say-- as I told them before -- that the tour operator should collect insurance information in advance. It put an unnecessary burden on the leader to get it and was a distraction the first day when people struggled to find the information on their phones because of poor wifi.Noemia Maxwell review 14 May 2019
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Achieving the walk from day to day, the fauna, flora and the arrival in Santiago.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take only the minimum necessary clothing and except for water, you always find good snack walking from village to village.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Possibly yes.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Much above my expectations! The local agency was very helpful to me as I missed my flight and as soon as I contacted them, they sorted everything out. Our guide, Alvaro, was outstanding!????Denise Ho review 8 May 2018
