1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Cycling round Kotor bay was probably my favourite activity - so beautiful and a lovely stop-off for lunch in Perast. (However my kids aged 13 and 16 didn't make it - too hot (August), too long and too much traffic in Kotor - so we had to take them back). Sea kayaking was fab and everyone loved that. The family loved the adventure rope park. The trip to the wine and honey farm (run by the owners' parents) was a surprising hit too.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Ask plenty of questions beforehand of the organisers and guides so you know what to expect. We loved our holiday but found the communication style is quite laid back - so do ask what you would like to know. The travel distances for activities tended to be understated on the itinerary - so sometimes the journeys were quite long for the kids - something to bear in mind.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

We stayed in local hotels, ate locally, the agency and guides were Montenegrin. So hopefully there were benefits to local people.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Montenegro is stunning country and well worth a visit. Zoran and Drazek(?) the guides were fantastic, informative and easy going. We had a lovely holiday. The logistics were efficient and reliable and the hotels very good. I would have liked a final itinerary before we set off for Montenegro and it would be good if it was clearer on the itinerary which were self-guided activities and fully independent days (e.g. hiking in Durmitor, cycling, sea kayaking) and which were days out with a guide. Minor points but would have been helpful. Overall a big thumbs up for the holiday.
