1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Every day was a new adventure, the variety of landscapes, wildlife and experiences we had was wonderful. We really enjoyed learning from the guides about Madagascar and it's people, animals and customs. We were lucky enough to see a huge range of chameleons, lemurs, birds on land as well as turtles and whales when on the boat trip.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be flexible if things need to change. If you are squeamish about toilet facilities, you might want to avoid the boat trip/ camping parts of what we did.... as there are no loos!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I hope so, the hotels seemed well chosen and with eco elements, and the local guide/ driver were excellent too.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Alefa boat tour for 3 days from Nosy- Be.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Very varied activity holiday. Cycling, hiking, swimming, snorkelling. Take clothes appropriate for these activities.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, we bought souvenirs from the inhabitants of Nosy-Sakatia4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
It was an excellent holiday, well-planned, varied, very enjoyable beach holiday at the end at Nosy- Be and Nosy Sakatia.We liked the last two hotels, L'heure Bleue and Sakatia lodge. We loved the canoeing and camping part of our trip, and the amazing hikes. The people, the animals and the scenery in Madagascar are so special and unique, it feels like a million miles away from normal life.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take clothes for all seasons! We went in the early-spring season, and it ranged from being very chilly (especially in the evenings) to very hot in Tsarasoa and the drier regions. Also, take some gifts for the local people and children. We took pens and football items, and they went down very well. Go with a relaxed and embracing attitude - the pace of life is very different in Madagascar.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We visited some areas with reforestation projects, and felt that we were supporting tourism generally in what has been a very difficult time for Madagascar in terms of visitor numbers.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
We had an outstanding holiday, which was seamlessly organised and delivered by the holiday provider. Our guide Hery, could not have been better and his boundless enthusiasm and passion for the country made our trip even more special.Holiday Reviews
