1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Probably the place I enjoyed the most; and got the most reward photographically, was Essaouira as it was at the end of the trip before returning to Marrakesh. The town is compact and colourful, we were pretty much on "free time" to photograph on the last morning and this gave us all more flexibility on what we chose to shoot and where to go. Intrinsicly it felt safe and there are plenty of coffee shops to take a break in, or wander to the harbour and beach.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be aware that there are long days in the car at times; travel light, the cases go on the roof of the car and all seats are taken with camera gear in the back or around you. Do some research and have an idea what you may want to cover photographically as each stop can be relatively short, though there is more time in Marrakesh, Essaouria and the desert.Don't be afraid to go out before breakfast and catch the bigger towns waking up; they are quieter, less touristic and the light is better.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We had the same driver the whole time and he was great so I expect he and his family benefitted, all of the accomodation was smaller scale and locally run so again there would seem to be local benefits and not paying to large corporations. It was interesting to notice that, especially when going to the desert camp, our driver got a call to bring some eggs in with him so he stopped off at a local shop and picked them up saving a long drive by the people at the desert camp. Very much people working together.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Never having been to Morocco before it showed off a wide range of landscapes, desert to mountain, date palms to Atlantic coast and others inbetween. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the group got on well. I would have liked more time in some locations to explore more photographic opportunties, and this was something I wondered about when I read the initial schedule, however, having been on the trip I am not sure how this would be achieved without either extending the trip, or dropping locations.Jon Lane review 28 Oct 2019
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The whole trip was something special, for me watching the sunset and sunrise in the middle of the Sahara and then photographing the Milky way late into the night has to be a highlight.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take sun cream and more important Lip salve, the air is so dry my lips still look like the surface of the moon. Don't expect 5 star Hotels the Riads are clean and tidy but basic, staff are helpful and attentive, something to remind us all where we come from.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I believe in a lot of cases it did, except for the 1,000 miles or so of driving but if you want to get a feel of Morocco in a week you cant do anything else. I would like to say that our driver Abdulraheem was a diamond couldn't have been more helpful to us all, he even bought us all lunch one day (fresh fish from a market and paid for the local cafe to cook it), (he did get a decent tip at the end).4. "Bedazzling" Group word for the tour, we found this word in a description while walking through El Badii Palace.Laura Toledo review 26 Oct 2019

Prepare to have an amazing time. Sometimes the travel between the different locations are tiring but once you get to the location you realize how worth the effort of getting there is. Yes, it benefited the local people, since we stayed at small and fantastic riads and the company seem to employ local guides and drivers.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
We went to so many amazing places it is difficult to select one. However the 'street photography' in Marrakech has to the has to be some of the craziest in the World! The holiday was well organised - none stop action and some very special accommodation.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Don't worry about having lots of photographic equipment with you it helped to travel light. Keep an open mind and just soak up the unique atmosphere of the amazing country3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We used local guides who were brilliant and know all the secret places. All the accomodation were local - no international chains. The whole trip integrates into the local communities and economy.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Sitting at the top of a 250m sand dune in the desert all by myself. Nothing but Sahara could be seen through all 360 degrees.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be aware that there is a lot of time spent travelling between locations. Nothing wrong with the schedule created by the operator, it's simply a necessity given the size and emptiness of southern Morocco.3. Excellent holiday. Fantastic tuition from the photographer leading the trip and a fantastic location to put his lessons into practice.Holiday Reviews
