1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Visiting Montenegro on this multi-activity holiday as a truly special experience for us. The week was full of fun and interesting activities and our guide, Mati, was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything from past and recent history to facts about the environment and nature. He was also very outgoing and great with the children. It felt very worthwhile having a local guide as the country is still quite undeveloped but we got lots of background where-ever we went and all activities were of top quality. The highlight of the trip was the vast beautiful landscapes, drinking water straight from the river we rafted on and the canyoning experience. We can highly recommend this trip to families seeking adventure in a warm and beautiful country.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
We flew with WizzAir which worked fine but we overpaid several hundreds of pounds on luggage with them (our own fault). My advise would be too book the ticket and then only book luggage when you start packing and decide which bags to bring.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, we felt the three different locations we stayed at were all run by locals and supported the local economy.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Yes we had meals in local farmhouses, who grew their own produce. It was all delicious! All the activities had minimal environmental impact but maximal fun !4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Take bug repellent. Definitely worth having wet shoes if you plan to go canyoning. Weather varies hugely between N and S Montenegro. Definitely take warm layers, long trousers and a waterproof coat if you’re visiting the North. Give plenty of advance warning if dietary requirements. E.g. vegan and gluten free food is *not* easy to come by in the more remote areas. The company will go above and beyond to accommodate you, but the more notice you give them the better!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. Our hosts are actively involved in environmental protection measures. They work only with trusted local people and small businesses.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
The hosts were wonderful and Villa Miela is beautiful. Bojana was a fantastic guide and we had a lot of fun with her. Our time in Northern Montenegro was definitely the highlight of the trip.Victoria Collins review 25 Jun 2018

yes, ben and emma work closely with the locals to improve the conservation of lake skadar and help spread the love with other tour operators.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
