We have recently added a new suite that is designed with eco ventilation. We have also planted more deciduous trees as these provide shade in the Summer, reducing the need for cooling systems in the house. In addition, The historic house has been rebuilt in the old ways but with added insulation. The walls are 60cm thick, so slowly heat up in the Summer and then keep their heat through the winter. We also use a local eco laundry service and where we can we buy local in season produce.
