The whole trip was marvellous. I felt like I’d gone to heaven.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The food on board Splendour was simply splendid, the chef did extremely well in his small galley and was an amusing part of our voyage; the skipper Ian was charming and made us feel very much at home, our cabin was comfortable and the en suite facilities worked well, we enjoyed our visits on shore, especially the visit to Mount Stuart which was memorable - and we enjoyed our fellow passengers; all in all, a very enjoyable experience from the beginning, when shore-based Jamie dealt with our request and subsequent reservation with speed and efficiency- to the end when he welcomed us back to Holy Loch Marina - we wish them success in the future.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, all the produce used was local and of good quality, our shore excursions created zero carbon footprints and we enjoyed the seals and other wildlife through our binoculars - we spent some money on shore and shared a car to return to the boat from Mount Stuart without using a taxi ............4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
All-round pleasure. Good food, beautiful scenery, good company, just the right size with 4 cabins, 8 passengers, Ian, most kind and accommodating of skippers and Steve the wonderful, inventive chef.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be agile and prepare to muck in.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, as much as circumstances allowed.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
