Samantha Farrington review 22 Apr 2022
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Going inside the Red pyramid and almost having it to ourselves, seeing a baby Nile crocodile and the balloon flight.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Budget for baksheesh ( tips), take a portable water purifier.
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Locals to an extent, yes. Reduced environmental impact sadly not. Unbelievable amounts of plastic used by hotels and thank goodness we took our own water purifier otherwise the amount of plastic bottles we'd have used would've been obscene. Some aspects of conservation incorporated into holiday would've been nice.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Amazing. Having our Egyptologist with us made it a much richer and less stressful experience.

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent tour with us in Egypt, I'm pleased to see that you and your family had a good time.
We did want to address your comments about single use plastics in Egypt as this is a situation we're also aware of and that we would like to see more done to resolve within the country. Prior to start of the COVID pandemic, we had been starting to use large water containers within our touring vehicles, from which our guests would be able to refill their own water containers. We did decide to pause this during the pandemic to avoid cross contamination via touch points. As the COVID situation has now improved somewhat, this is something that we are looking at restarting again, so we hope to have large water containers within our vehicles again in the coming months. We're sure that this will greatly reduce the numbers of plastic bottles being used by our guests whilst in Egypt.
We hope to welcome you on another tour in the future.
