1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

When the sails went up, not often enough sadly!

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

To be aware this is NOT a holiday under sail, but nevertheless less it is a beautiful ship with a friendly crew. Get sea bands as sometimes it does 'rock and roll' a bit.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Clearly a benefit to local communities due to money spent in ports etc. Usual conservation stuff like re-using towels etc, lack of time under sail many a lot of diesel was used which was a pity.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

My friend (Canadian) and myself (UK) had a great time, met some interesting people from all over the world. The small ship is good for this type of networking. The islands were beautiful, the guide informative, food was good. I only had one complaint very small but very irritating- the hangers in the wardrobe, almost impossible to hook/unhook clothes with any ease. drove me nuts.

No

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Rated very good. Itinerary had to be changed due to very high winds. Crew and the food were excellent.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

We went on the North Deconese Islands cruise from Bodrum. The most exciting part was the first night when we were sailing in the dark to Kalymnos (no room at Kos harbour). The wind was strong and sea spray kept catching those of us sitting in the bow of the ship enjoying the excitement. The most memorable was the terrific atmosphere on the boat. All the passengers got on really well (British, Australian, Italian and German) and the crew were excellent, they couldn't do enough for us.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Don't go sailing around these islands if you are not prepared for a radical change of itinerary. The wind was so strong we had to sail South instead of North after we reached Kalymnos . Fortunately everyone on board was happy with that but it could have been tricky. You need to be sociable - you have to live closely with 12 other people for a whole week. It was great but could be some people's idea of hell !

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Provides local employment. All food bought locally and lots of fresh food too. We had one full afternoon of sailing with full sails and a morning with partial sail.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

It was very good. I would definitely book this type of holiday again. Hopefully we might get to see the islands on the itinerary !

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The warmth, kindness and hospitality of the Greek people

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

It's a relaxing trip, most on board are of a more mature age. Shame there are not more round the mid 40's - mid 50's yr looking for this type of fulfilment. Its a lovely trip.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes, we were encouraged to walk the back streets and mingle in order to distribute our possible expenditures and support around each island

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

I'd rate it a 6 for these reasons: 1. If you drink alcohol it can be rather costly. The wines (at least local wines) and beers should be included at dinner table. Soft drinks especially mineral water shoud be included in price. 2. We expected more sailing.....the sails were set up but only 3 of the 6 and not fully for a short while. 3. Not enough swim stops 4. Last night ship spends it back at Athens, I think this could still be on an en-route island. 5. Wifi (though we go to disconnect) should be free especially as it does not work everywhere on the ship and its speed is debatable! 5. Departure from ship could be later. Breakfast is normally up to 0900 we had to be out by 9am!
