1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Swim stops every day were fabulous. We enjoyed the guided walk and in particular Josephine S‘s knowledge and personable character.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Bring a beach towel and swim shoes to avoid Kina (sea urchins).3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We bought meals onshore and went to attractions so that benefited locals (unlike bigger cruises we have been on). I would suggest guests are encouraged to collect rubbish at each beach for the crew to dispose of.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
We enjoyed it very much. The crew were friendly and would do everything they could to make the trip enjoyable ie they booked us a restaurant and took less confident swimmers to the beach by dingy rather than swimming off the boat.Steve and Liz Leavins review 26 Aug 2024
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Relaxation and sunshine.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Going from Opatija means you avoid the queues at the ports it’s easy to disembark and only had other vessels moored against us twice. Also the islands we visited weren’t overrun with ships in port.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We are at local restaurants every night except one so were supporting local economy.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Enjoyable and relaxing, well worth doing. The only small thing I would say is by the time you get to port and start to discover the island it is late in the day as in after 5pm when you get to dock, so by the time you eat dinner at a restaurant it is late when you are exploring and you are tired from a day of swimming and trying to explore at 1030pm onwards isn’t easy as the heat does sap your energy. Getting into the islands a little earlier would be great to get the most out of exploring the islands as you leave by 8am most days.Sandra Martin review 22 Oct 2023

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Seeing new places off the beaten track and the food on board the ship. Our guide was very pleasant and informative.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take plenty of books/things to do on board. Be aware that there is sometimes noise from other boats moored up overnight or noise from bars on the shore. We were a bit shocked by our bar bill at the end of the holiday one beer/glass of wine each (2 of us) at lunchtime and 3 drinks each on Captains dinner came to over €110. The taxes payable at €60 per person seem steep compared to other companies. All payable in cash.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Eating at small local restaurants should have benefitted the economies of the places we visited. Not sure about environmental impact or conservation4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Very enjoyable but turned out to be more expensive than anticipated.Laura Palmucci review 25 Jun 2023
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The visit to the museum of Mali Losijni, an optional but unmissable excursion. The museum, a wonderful piece of architecture, hosts a single, wonderful statue over 2000 years old, found at the bottom of the sea. Amazing.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Go with plenty of books because the pace is extra relaxed3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, the boat was owned by a Croatian young captain and the whole crew was local. There is no waste of plastic bottles as water was offered from a big container that was refilled along the way. Bed sheets and towels were only changed once, saving cleaning. Food was bought locally and prepared by the local cook on the boat.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Pleasant, a little too relaxed for my standards; I would have liked to have shorter swim stops and more time to visit towns, maybe with the possibility to rent a bike and go around the islands as I did in a previous such cruise in South Croatia. The guide Josephine was very nice and always tried her best to give us the best experience.Stella Hollis review 7 Jul 2022
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The day in Rab.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be prepared to find an area across the sea from Italy that is still unspoiled but where the food and climate are just as good and the prices much lower.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
The holiday made me realise yet again how much empty space there remains in Europe.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The scenery and the beautiful places where we stopped overnight.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
I would recommend asking for twin beds instead of a double as this means one person has to sleep against the wall.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
The boat was owned by a father and son and all the crew were Croatian so the holiday certainly created jobs while we ate out every evening in a local restaurant.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
The boat was comfortable and the crew were friendly and efficient.Kate York review 22 Oct 2018

You need to be able to yield yourself to relaxing and doing not very much.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Thank you for your feedback and I am glad to see you really enjoyed the trip.
I am a little surprised to to see that you don't think the cruise will have benefited the local economy. The vessel is owned and crewed by Croatians, and all the food served on board is bought locally.
Additionally you will have eaten ashore on most nights providing income for all the small restaurants and cafes that line the ports, and many of which grow their own produce locally,
including wine, cheese and olives.
The vessels pay mooring fees to the small ports that larger vessels cannot access thus helping maintain the ports facilities. In helping provide the local economy with some income from small ships you help to provide the alternative for the small islands who could
dredge a deep water port and invite large cruise ships to dock. The small ships also mean that it is not necessary to build hotels and the related infrastructure in environmentally and culturally sensitive areas by providing accommodation when demand is high.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The incredible food. Especially the octopus.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Book restaurants before hand to save disappointment and so that you can order the pika dishes which take hrs to cook. Best restaurants -Split Konoba Feral and Zlatna Ribica. Really good value. Mljet - Konoba Herc the most idyllic setting. Dubrovnik - Taj Mahal. We never went to Hvar town because of the weather but so glad we didn't as we were taken to Stari Grad which was my favourite place of all. Eat at Eremitaz. Buy beach shoes as all beaches are stoney Hire bikes and cycle about. Check your bottled water is new. We had one with a cigarette butt in. That was the only bad experience.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Being on the water on a beautiful little boat with a fabulous crew and great other passengers. We had a mum and 2, 11 year old girls who were a treat to have on board. It was very nice to have only 25 passengers. This was our first "cruise" and because of all the above, we really enjoyed this experience. Also the scenery was wonderful. The whole experience was memorable but one special thing was the swim stop on Cres on our last day. We were the only boat there and we stayed for several hours. It was beautiful and so peaceful.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Make an effort to make friends with everyone on the boat, including all the crew.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. Unfortunately we had to use plastic bottles for drinking water. I hope these were recycled.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
