1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Getting within touching distance of wild Asian elephants in one of the National Parks, and seeing them interact with each other, magical!2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Beware of the leeches if you go to Sinharaja forest for the bird watching walk. Wear long pale coloured trousers tucked into long thick socks, so you can see them and remove them before they bite hopefully.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Everywhere I went local people were employed and I would hope that the entrance fees to the various National Parks supports the conservation work within. I made a point of doing a beach clean at my last hotel on the coast and talked to the hotel staff about it encouraging them to take responsibility for the rubbish which ends up in the ocean.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Amazing! If you like history, wildlife, spicy food, friendly people and beautiful scenery then Sri Lanka is the place to go.Holiday Reviews
