Reviews for Parma short break food and culture, Italy

review 24 Apr 2018

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The food was fantastic, and the landscape.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

This holiday was very well organised by Giovanna in Italy, and ran like clockwork. If you are interested in regional food,i.e. cheese making, vinegar production and wine, its fascinating and we enjoyed the cultural aspects too. Parma had plenty to offer and we enjoyed the day travelling by train.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes, certainly we visited small regional producers of food made in the traditional manner. The local transfers were very professional and done by a local firm, we travelled by train too, and stayed in a small B&B.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Excellent, we would certainly recommend this tour. We were blessed with beautiful weather too.

Dear Helen, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your travel experience and for your words of appreciation. Our small company and our partners always try to show to our visitors what we are and what we do in a very simple and authentic way. We did not do anything special but we are very thankful to you because you came to visit us with an open heart and open mind which allowed us to introduce you to our daily life. Thank you again for visiting us Best wishes Giovanna
