The unimaginable beauty of Albania & Montenegro. Unique highlights particularly the Goat Farm. Quality of local guides. Fine support and hourly assistance when needed.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Improve your small road driving skills. Properly space your destinations. Use online searches to review restaurant options.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We were respectful of waste and took care of the environment. The biggest problem is/will be the avaricious overdevelopment. This may diminish the very attraction of these countries.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
We loved having everything arranged for us. All we had to do was show up! We enjoyed the active adventures like hiking around the lakes, biking in Durmotor National Park, and kayaking.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be specific about qthe quality of accommodations and restaurants that you would like. We had some of our young grandchildren with us so three-star was fine, but if it were just my husband and myself, we would have preferred four star or above for accommodations. Also, be specific about the quality of rental car you would like.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
It seemed like our accommodations benefited locals as they were individually owned and run properties. Same with the guides on our adventures.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
We had a great time with our daughter and her family and the activities were something we could all do. We felt like we saw a variety of what Montenegro has to offer from the mountains to the lakes to the beaches.Julia Kearsey review 8 Aug 2025

Standing on the peak of a mountain and taking in the view! We loved all the walks, exploring new places, meeting some great people and travelling around this beautiful country.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take a good pair of walking shoes! We absolutely loved all the walks we did but a good pair of trail shoes/walking boots were essential.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We met lots of local people - the guides and the hosts in our accommodation - and I hope and think that our holiday benefited them. They all seemed rightly proud of their country and seemed to enjoy showing off the beautiful walks, wildlife and views.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Book it! Be aware this is relatively adventurous travel, so it’s not relaxing exactly, but SO stimulating and utterly beautiful.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. I wish there was more recycling in Montenegro, but overall this was a lower impact higher benefit holiday4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
