Reviews for The Finisterre Way walking holiday
jay sivell review 4 May 2023
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The Galician 'rainforest' walks, early morning mist over farmland and swimming in the sea at dawn at Fisterra. Also, our lovely host at Corcubion (Mar Viva), who threw himself into some maritime research I was doing there and rounded up locals to talk to or help me.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take a swimming costume and travel towel. The beaches start at Quenxe (Corcubion) and continue to Fisterra. Lovely at dawn.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
The accommodation was all in small hotels and guest houses. Very comfortable. Very personal. Our only quibble would be the plastic some placed over the WC bowl indicating it had been cleaned. This seems an unnecessary use of single-use plastic.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Excellent! Well organised. Good (daily) communication. Everything worked. Instructions were clear and walking guide was good.Holiday Reviews
