1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Hokkaido was an unexpected joy--we were enchanted by the astounding beauty of the geography and the kindness of everyone we met. It was total delight to discover local connections to Canada, BC and Vancouver in the form of a rock garden in Sapporo's botanical garden to a Maple Leaf shaped flower garden at the Museum for Northern Peoples and finally, the steam clock in Otaru.The accommodations were fantastic and our guides were outstanding.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Work with Jeff and he will ensure your holiday will go smoothly. All our transportation worked seamlessly. Let him know of any food allergies you have and you will receive a card written in Japanese and English regarding food sensitivities. This was invaluable in restaurants.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Our guides helped us follow all the environmental rules such as staying on trails and packing out our garbage. We stayed in local Japanese hotels which supported the local economy.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
