Meeting others on the group

Make sure your fit enough to do the walks in whatever the weather

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

The only local people who benefited where the hotel. Not sure if we reduced environmental impact, except we were taken around in a coach and not separate cars

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Very enjoyable, walks, leaders, others on the group and friendly staff at the hotel all contributed to a successful holiday

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The views of the Cheviot Hills on two of the walks, with colours and contrasts. Also my sense of achievement having ascended 1,600 feet.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Ensure you have a range of clothing for all weathers especially footware.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Visiting a less crowded area of the country would have benefited local shops, attractions and the hotel, yes.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Very good value for money.
