Be prepared for lots of tourists and very busy coastal roads. The number of people at the historical sites themselves was manageable. There are lots of steps along the Amalfi coast so be prepared!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. We stayed at local family hotels and ate out at local restaurants. The guides were all local as were the minibus drivers. We took public transport where we could.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
There was a lot packed in for a week and the time flew. I saw all the places I had wanted to see for many years. The travellers in the group were delightful and friendly. Our tour guide Sebastian handled complex travel arrangements and site visits for the group very well, esecially as we had varying levels of fitness.Holiday Reviews
