1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
We enjoyed cycling on tracks through fields of apples, cereals, olives, vines and rice paddies. The medieval villages were most interesting. The wine tour at La Vinyeta was well presented, informative and some nice wine too. Most enjoyable and a good amount of detail in the growing of the vines and production of wines was the tour at Celler Mas Eugene, Palamos Moli Mig Hotel was excellent, very homely and great dining.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
In Mid June the temperatures reached 36C, so plenty sunblock and liquids are essential. If unfamiliar with the GPS navigation platform, do some trial rides before starting off on the tour you don't want to hear "Rerouting Failed"3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
The local people benefited from our hotel stays and use of public transport to and from the tour. 2 wineries, Anexovies Soles, and lunch stop restaurants, benefited from our visited. By cycling through the area we did minimal environmental harm.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
The holiday was good. We would have benefited by some more information on the RidewithGPS. The system was good but it took us a day to fathom out the error tones. It also gave the warning" Rerouting" if one took a wrong turn. However we never found Rerouting to be successful, frequently hearing" Rerouting failed". We thought the trip was overpriced. Having added up the hotel accommodation, 3 dinners, bike hire, luggage transfers, agency fee to Responsible Travel admin charge and an element of profit there was a more than expected difference in what we paid and what we actually received.Tiffany Arthur review 10 Jul 2021

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Getting to know catalan culture, from ancient ruins over medieval villages to seaside resorts, from tapas over olive oil to wine and beer2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Look up the weather forecast. Don't worry too much about your fitness, 30-40km isn't a lot, and it's almost flat terrain.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We definitely gave the local wine industry a good boost ;) Joking aside, cycling is obviously better for the environment than taking a car.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
I really enjoyed the trip, the tour guide was awesome, the hotels very good. Excellent.Holiday Reviews
