Book it!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We loved staying in local guest houses. The food and wine was locally sourced also.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
"My wife and I took this tour with this local operator and had a wonderful and memorable experience from start to finish. Marian was very helpful in answering any questions we had and even sorting out some last minute equipment for us. The routes and accommodation were great; we loved staying in the local guesthouses and eating some very welcome home cooked food every day. Finally, our guide Bogdan absolutely made our trip. We enjoyed his enthusiasm, experience, extensive knowledge of Romanian history and culture and our wide- ranging dinner conversations! Prepare for the descents! It’s an amazingly rugged landscape.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We contributed to the local economy and stayed mostly at small businesses, shopping with local merchants.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
