Great to be out in nature and challenging myself on a walking trip.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
As a first-time participant on a walking trip, I should have had a better understanding of elevation gain! Some of the hills were quite challenging - but the guide and group were accommodating and I respected my limits.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We stayed at a family-run hotel - which proudly shared its story and connection to the community. We used public transportation to get to the starting point of a couple of the walks (rather than using a dedicated "tour bus") - participants were given a pass which gave access to buses and other local attractions.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
