1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Our hike to the Tiger's Nest. Great day, great views, great guide.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Comment on the clarity of some guides if you are finding difficulty understanding--in Katmandu.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

I hope so!

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Very successful. Only 2 positive suggestions---a better standard of hotel in Katmandu. The guide was difficult to follow as his English was strongly accented.

The two most memorable activities were attending the Black Crane Festival and a farmstay for two nights whilst attending the festival.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Bhutan was beautiful and Tibet was very intriguing. I especially enjoyed watching families worshipping in temples during festival.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Seeing the Potala Palace in Tibet and completing the hike to the Tiger's Nest Monastery in Bhutan have been on my list of places to see and do for many years. I thoroughly enjoyed both.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Be certain about the Visa information you receive. I was informed that my visa for Tibet could also be used for a stop in China on my return trip. That proved not to be the case and I had to apply for and purchase a second Visa for China. I ended up paying over $400 for the 2 visa's through the company the tour company contracts with. I have since learned that had I made my own Visa arrangement it would have cost $140 for US citizens to obtain a visa for China. I do not know if I could have used that same visa for Tibet, however.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

I appreciated how well organized the tour operator were. Someone was always there at the airport(s) for pick up and got us back on time for departures. I was impressed with the way Achut and his team handled all of the trip details. With the exception of the visa issues, I am very pleased with my trip and with the tour company.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

I was a solo traveller to Bhutan, Nepal and Tibet with the most memorable part being my trip from Lhasa to the Friendship bridge via Everest BC with my exceptional guide Tan Zin from whom I learned about the country, culture and Buddhism and more about myself.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

- Use a reputable well organised company like this one which I did as logistics can be complicated. Service and arrangements through them were excellent. - I also had a medical check up to ensure I wasn't anaemic plus used Diamox and Ibuprofen so was fortunate not to have altitude sickness/issues at all. - Travel with an open mind and heart.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Absolutely benefitted local people ... I gave educational books to orphanages in Nepal; I was mindful of plastic bottles and disposing of other materials which may cause pollution; I stayed in Tibetan hotels and ate at local restaurants to support local Tibetan people; plus happily chatted to talk to local people to maximise cultural exchange and learnings.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Outstanding - an adventure plus spiritual pilgrimage.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

The friendliness of the people we met in both Nepal and Bhutan was one of the highlights of the trip.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Road surfaces are really not good so it takes much longer to get from place to place than we'd be used to at home. Just allow sufficient time and relax.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes - tourism is a really important industry for both Nepal and Bhutan. It gives employment directly and indirectly. Tourism provides the impetus for conservation in the Chitwan.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

I thoroughly enjoyed this holiday and would recommend the tour brothers Achut and Keshav who run the tour company organised for us wholeheartedly. I'd hope to be able to return and see more of this wonderful country sometime.
