Reviews for Yucatan cycling holiday in Mexico
Helen DUCKWORTH review 15 Mar 2026
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Cycling over the continental divide across the Panamanian Highlands with the view of beautiful forest and mountins as far as we could see then arriving at the torquoise blue Pacific ocean. Panama in general was a wonderful surprise and much more beautiful and wild than i realised.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Definitely worth practising cycling up some hills before you go as they are quite tough in the heat. But in general the cycling routes are well planned and not as hard as I thought they might be. None of us used the bus instead of cycling and we only pushed up one very steep gravel section. Its all very fast paced and we never had breakfast later than 7am, with most starts at 6.30 or even 6am so its not for you if you like a lie in on holiday!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Not particularly to be honest.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Fab. A very enjoyable holiday introduction to Latin America.Holiday Reviews
