Reviews for A week in Ghana holiday
David Lawrence review 1 Nov 2026
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
All of it but especially the Cape Coast castle and museum sites which were very moving and educational.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
This holiday is ideal for people who like to explore different cultures and who are interested in history and adventure. The roads can be challenging with a number of very bumpy rides but it's all worth it.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes as the hotels I stayed in were run by local companies and people. There is more interest in keeping the country clean than any other West African country that I have visited. You do not see rubbish piled up at the side of the road.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
It was an excellent holiday and it was great to visit the three most visited areas of Ghana, Accra, the Ashanti district and the Cape Coast.Holiday Reviews
