It was a great holiday and we really enjoyed the breath of activities that we went on. In particular we enjoyed the community activities that we had booked up… It helped us to understand more about Peruvian people and communities.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
To remember that the distance is between the various different destinations and activities are often quite long.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We hope that our community visits we had organised and a couple of the places that we stayed that were tied to their local communities did benefit local communities and that was a really important part of our holiday4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Take good medication and be aware that you spend a long time at altitude in Peru. The book Patria by Laurence Blair is a worthy read3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes definitely. We have bought goods directly from families and have seen how our visits are beneficial to locals4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Approaching the Sun Gate on the Inca trail to then see Machu Picchu in its full glory.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Read up on Inca history to get the most out of Cuzco, Inca Trail & Sacred Valley. Also the new circuit ticket system at Machu Picchu is complicated so ensure you know what you want to see in the short time you are there.3. Absolutely. Having 1 of only 10 female Inca trail guides hopefully supported equality in that industry.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

So many but the 4 day Inca trail was absolutely amazing. We also loved seeing the condors, relaxing in the hot springs, the Uros Islands & Tequille, the Palccoyo mountain range & Cusco.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Don’t hesitate! Perú is amazing but go slow & really get to know it.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
