Everything was great, but I loved Thesalonika and the site of Pella. The rest of the places we went were also great.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Try the traditional dishes of the area, the food was excellent. Keep always a bottle of water with you.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes! We visited local taverns and stores , most of them were family-owned businesses. Lots of walking, even cycling, only used car when needed.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

The visit in Vergina and the tombs are out of this world. We also enjoyed Meteora rocks and the hiking that we did there with our guide.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
This trip includes walking in a lot of places and hiking, so bring nice shoes for hiking/walking. Depending on the period that you will visit Greece, you might need a light jacket in some areas.3. Definitely since we enjoyed meals in local taverns and in general we stayed in smaller, family-owned hotels in a lot of areas. We had to use a car travelling around, but we did the hiking and the food tour in Thessaloniki, which was on foot and highly worth it.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Excellent! We were amazed by the staff from the office and their quick response to our questions, to our driver, Dimitri who was always friendly and answered all of our questions during this wonderful trip. We did a shorter version of this trip, but the places we visited were outstanding. We will definitely visit Greece again, maybe do the Southern part next time!Holiday Reviews
