1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
All of it. This was more of an expedition than a holiday, the objective was to see and learn about Malta's history and culture, in particular the prehistoric monuments. We were able to visit places that most people won't get to see, for example the Hypogeum or don't visit because they are off the tourist trail.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Having a knowledgeable guide is vital, Victoria was able to tell us so much about the sites we visited and Malta in general that we would never have learned from a group tour. Secondly the flexibility of a tailor made holiday is important. We never felt pushed for time and could make small changes to the schedule.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I would say yes. We used a local guide, drivers and services. We mainly ate in local establishments and we bought local crafts as souvenirs.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
The local element was excellent, we were well looked after. We had selected a lower cost hotel option, so the hotel wasn't up to the usual standard but was fit for purpose and had an excellent location. On the down side there are opportunities for Take Me to Europe to improve their service. 4 Stars from me is very good. 5 requires something exceptional.Read the operator's response here:

We also appreciate his comments about the flexibility we design into our tailor-made holidays and the way we strive to ensure their holiday benefitted Malta and the Maltese people. We created 11 changes to the itinerary, split the itinerary into two with separate invoicing and reissued tickets, and moved around all the components of the tour many times. We checked in before, during, and after the trip with Mr. Adams to ensure a seamless and stress- free holiday.
