1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

On a personal level; learning what types of hiking and travel are ideal for my partner and me. Otherwise; spending time in Boat of Garten, a small town in Scotland. During our relatively short stay, we felt a sense of community and acceptance for us and the other tourist coming to the town.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Stay longer.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

I do feel the local people benefited from our stay. Rebecca and Andy used local resources for food and was able to suggest local sights and hikes in the area to support the residents. Efforts were taken to reduce our impact on the environment and it was obvious Rebecca took much effort to use the vegetables and jams made from her garden in our breakfasts, lunches and dinners. In addition, Rebecca was able to find us a ride-share to the airport instead of her making a dedicated trip with her vehicle. We enjoyed the conversation and perspective of our driver.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

I rate this holiday high. Rebecca and Andy were able to suggest daily hikes for us after we realized the planned hikes would be too difficult for us. They also offered good suggestions for non-hiking activities. AND, the food was fantastic.
