Reviews for Thai Indochina holiday
Jennifer Fruehauf review 7 Apr 2024
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Our guide, Nai was fantastic and couldn’t have been better. He was knowledgeable, kind and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our trip. The itinerary offered a good balance between culture, nature and historical sites while also enabling us to learn about local customs and giving back to the communities we visited.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Go to Bangkok a few days early or stay on for a few days as our time there was too short.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, namely with our visit to the elephant conservation park, the indigo dyeing business in Phrae, and our visits to local markets which gave us the chance to buy directly from people to support them and their families.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
A fantastic holiday overall. Exciting, informative and nicely varied. I do think it could be a couple of days longer to see more of Bangkok and give travellers a day of downtime in Chiang Mai.Holiday Reviews
