1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
White water rafting and wild swimming on the Vjosa River, but more generally what an amazing place Albania was to visit - beautiful landscapes and towns, friendly people and unexpectedly excellent food.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
If visiting in high summer, bring hand-held or neck fans. It can be brutally hot. Also bring water shoes which are very much needed for the swimming, rafting and pebbly beaches3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. We stayed in family-owned hotels, ate in family-owned restaurants, and used locally-run facilities4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
One of the very best we have been on - agreed by all our party of 6. The itinerary was perfectly organised, and struck the right balance between activities and a little leisure time, the tour guide and driver were absolutely outstanding - so friendly and knowledgeable. We were also blown away by Albania which was such a fascinating place to go and we are all desperate to go back and see more of a country that we have only touched the surface of in a week.Holiday Reviews
