Hi Jenny, thank you for taking the time to give some feedback, I’m glad you enjoyed your holiday. In answer to your question regarding “Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?” All our accommodations are family owned, they employ local people and of course those employment opportunities help avoid the displacement and resettlement of local communities, this is the same for the local restaurants. We always encourage our guests to behave in an environmentally responsible manner. We walk on designated paths and make sure no litter is left behind and of course walking is a great way to lower your environmental impact whilst on vacation. As well as the Cap de Creus National Park during your vacation you pass through the Aiguamolls Nature reserve. The Aiguamollls is the second most important wetland area in Catalonia and the support from tourists visiting the visitors centre there is very important in helping preserve this important wild life reserve.
