1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The landscapes in the Everest region - absolutely stunning, like continuous hiking in a postcard!2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Research thoroughly beforehand. Ideally speak to other travelers who have done the treks. Pick a trek suitable for your level of fitness. Consider altitude medication and definitely follow the acclimatization guidance. Pack and dress appropriately for the temperatures. Be prepared for escalating personal expenses the further you get from civilization and budget accordingly. Consider donating some of your gear to your guide, porters or other locals.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, we supported locals through our lodge stays and purchases. We did not reduce environmental impact but at least were neutral in that regard.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
5 stars - one of the most memorable trips of my life.Barry Mc Carthy review 22 Aug 2017

Not sure about the environmental impact of the trip or our impact on conservation but it definitely supported the local tourism industry.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Our tour operator was fantastic at organizing every detail of our trip! From travel to/from the airport & around kathmandu, to accommodation, to our guide & porter (both of which were fantastic). Definitely would recommend!Rachel Allen review 8 Jun 2015
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Seeing the sun rise behind Everest at the top of Kalapathar.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
I would recommend going to Gokyo as well as Kalapathar as it's much quieter with very few of the big groups going to Everest Base Camp. Also, because my guide was flexible, we managed to avoid the groups quite a lot of the time even on the EBC route. The views from Gokyo Ri were also stunning.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I feel that it benefited local people. I was also happy to see that the company organised a rescue team following the earthquakes.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
I loved the trek and am so glad I did it. I would also highly recommend the company. The organisers in Kathmandu were really welcoming, I had a great guide (Ale) who went out of his way to be helpful, all of the lodges had a nice atmosphere, lovely staff and good food. There were no hidden extras and a generous allowance for food and tea (I drank lots of tea) so I paid for very little while I was there. Great memories.Holiday Reviews
