1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The beauty of the scenery, the wildlife, the scope for walking. The opportunity to travel on a small sailing ship with only a few people and a lovely crew.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Coming well equipped with the weather and if you are a solo traveller being ready to share a tiny cabin. Otherwise just enjoy and open yourself to the peace and beauty around you.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Definitely. The company won a green tourism award and everyone was mindful of waste and water. All the delicious meals were locally sourced.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Beyond expectations from the start (I.e preliminary contact and info). Very attentive and friendly crew and stunning itinerary and scenery. Very warmly recommended to anyone looking for a small, friendly and very personal holiday.Mike Price review 26 Jun 2023
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Difficult to choose. The whole "being on a boat" experience and cruising around the coast was wonderful - but the visit to Fingal's Cave was amazing.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Don;t expect large bedrooms !3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
It seems far better than driving around all day as it produces less pollution and does it in an area away from towns and villages. However, it does take people away from staying in local hotels that employ local people. It is a wonderful way to allow people to view the scenery and wildlife at minimal disturbance - and hence reduces environmental impact while encouraging people to know about the real local area and support efforts to protect it.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Excellent holiday with superb staff at all levels.Elisabeth Wilson review 26 Jun 2023

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Many wildlife sightings - the good weather helped a lot with this! Good food, well-organised boat crew, happy customers.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Check the cabins. Cabins are going to be small but en-suite is better.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
The boat was a good way to travel around the islands - obviously uses diesel - but otherwise we walked and used public transport. Benefits to locals - not sure apart from paying for accommodation prior to the trip and buying items on shore. Great advert for visiting the area. Support to conservation - all the people on the trip supported / were interested in seeing the wildlife so hopes this generates more conservation interest generally.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Really enjoyed all aspects of the trip.Barbara Goldman review 27 Jul 2019
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Puffin Day on Lunga was definitely the highlight of our trip. But just being on the boat and sharing an amazing trip with five strangers made the trip memorable.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
No real tips - relax and have the time of your loves!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We spent money in small out of the way places. We were careful and threw garbage in only marked places. But as to whether we benefited local people or supported conservation not really sure.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Best holiday ever!!!!!Linda Young review 23 Jun 2019
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Watching 14 dolphins following the boat was a highlight. The scenery was fabulous.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
The trip is totally weather controlled so don’t be disappointed if you can’t go to certain places. Take extra jumpers. Buy a map of the area which gives a better understanding of the islands.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Local people benefited from us spending money but most shops, museums and cafes closed by 5pm. Nothing we did had a bad impact on our surroundings4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Super holiday with the best staff you could wish for and the best company. The food was super.Greta DAVIS review 23 Jun 2019

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Being "on the water" was exhilarating! When the weather was good, it was glorious, and when the weather was stormy, it was exciting.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Miminize luggage. Storage space is modest. Layers are necessary. Don't forget the rain gear. Be flexible. Much of the itinerary is dictated by weather and tides. The holiday providers office staff are very kind to help with arrangements. Try to take time before/after the cruise to visit Oban and Tobermory. Lovely towns.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Definitely a benefit to the locals. Food is purchased locally. And most of us found lovely things to purchase. The protocol on the ship was very respectful of the environment.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
It was a delight. I was hoping for something unique and it was!Holiday Reviews
