1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
We have just returned from our trip to Uganda organised by our tour operator. Our experience was absolutely amazing and we can confidently say the best holiday we have had. The team were very professional and fully attentive to all of our needs. Wycliffe was reassuring, knowledgeable and supportive listening carefully to our wishes and needs taking care and time to specifically tailor a unique package for us. Our work voluntarily teaching in the Ebeneezer Secondary School in Mityana was very purposeful and we were able to contribute in a rewarding and meaningful way. Our relationship with the wonderful dedicated and devoted headmaster, staff and students will continue. During our visit Vincent, John and Alex looked after us and cared for us in such a way that we felt safe and protected. We were competently and informatively guided to visit the real Uganda seeing and experiencing a wonderful array of people, places and activities. We return much more educated and fulfilled in the clear knowledge and understanding that we have enjoyed a very special holiday package.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Sort out e-visas and vaccination requirements well in advance. Follow the advice and guidelines regarding the consumption of local water. Relax and enjoy the experience. The team are superb and they take care of everything you need.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Enormously! Our experience working in school was mutually beneficial. The hotels that we stayed in were carefully chosen and the people who worked on our behalf were local directly benefitting from our stay. On safari the lodges that we stayed in were very sustainably managed.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Be prepared for a lot of travelling on bumpy roads - but it is worth it3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Tourism in Uganda has to benefit the local economy and assist the country in improving its appearance to the outside world4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Excellent and the tour company looked after us really well. Took us on a tour around Kampala on the last day which was also excellently plannedHoliday Reviews
