CARBON REDUCTION
The private small ship selected for this journey is a purposefully chosen small vessel, designed to have a significantly lighter environmental impact than larger cruise ships. It does not require the extensive infrastructure needed to support large cruise ships and their passengers. Instead, it allows access to smaller, less-visited ports and off-the-beaten-path destinations that remain untouched by large crowds.

The ship is committed to reducing carbon emissions by working to lower energy consumption and, where feasible, using renewable energy sources. It prioritizes energy efficiency with fuel-efficient engines and hull coatings that minimize fuel use and lower overall carbon output. LED lighting, which uses up to 80% less energy, is installed throughout the vessel. Additionally, evaporator systems convert water used for engine cooling into fresh water for air conditioning, further reducing energy waste and contributing to carbon reduction.

ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE
Our private cruise vessel is committed to minimizing our environmental impact while actively promoting positive contributions to the ecosystems and communities we visit.

Strict waste management and recycling protocols are implemented throughout the vessel. In the kitchen and bar, fresh, locally sourced ingredients support a farm-to-table approach while significantly reducing packaging waste typically associated with pre-packaged goods. Unnecessary packaging is minimized wherever possible, with a focus on using recycled or easily recyclable materials. Plastic use is kept to a minimum, limited only to recycled or recyclable options when necessary for food preservation.

To further reduce single-use plastic waste, smart, refillable water bottles are provided to all guests upon boarding. Bathroom amenities are eco-friendly and come in sustainable packaging, while the ship is maintained using non-toxic, environmentally safe cleaning products.

Water conservation is also a priority. Guests are encouraged to be mindful of their water usage during showers, hand washing, and brushing their teeth. Towels are reused rather than replaced daily, unless otherwise requested, to help minimize water waste.

In collaboration with local organizations, the crew organizes voluntary beach clean-ups and educational seminars focused on raising environmental awareness. Guests are warmly encouraged to participate—an easy yet meaningful way to support coastal preservation and contribute to the health of local ecosystems.

The crew is also trained to educate guests about native wildlife in each region visited, fostering a deeper appreciation and sense of responsibility toward the natural world. The cruise coordinator, in particular, shares valuable insights into local marine life and ongoing conservation efforts, along with practical ways guests can actively contribute to protecting these environments.

This includes encouraging travelers to purchase locally produced goods and utilize local services, such as guides and restaurants. The cruise coordinator will provide guests with tailored recommendations and suggestions for local services that directly benefit the communities at each destination we visit.
