We operate a strict leave-no-trace policy on board. Single-use plastics are avoided wherever possible, reusable water bottles are encouraged, and all waste generated during the trip is carefully sorted and disposed of responsibly once back on shore. Our crews also brief guests on responsible swimming and snorkelling practices to ensure that coral, seabeds and marine life are not disturbed.

Supporting local communities is an important part of our tours. We source food, supplies and services from small local businesses, island producers and family-run bakeries, helping to keep tourism revenue within the region. When we stop in coastal villages, we encourage guests to explore locally owned tavernas, markets and shops rather than international chains.

Our small group sizes also help minimise environmental impact and create a more meaningful experience for guests. By travelling with fewer people, we reduce pressure on fragile bays and beaches while allowing visitors to experience the coastline in a quieter, more authentic way.

This not only provides guests with fresh regional products but also helps support the small businesses that form the backbone of coastal communities.

During stops in villages and harbours, we encourage guests to visit family-run tavernas, cafιs and independent shops, helping to spread tourism spending beyond major tourist hubs. Our crew also share insights about local traditions, maritime heritage and island life, helping visitors develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the places they visit.

We operate small group trips to ensure that visits remain respectful and manageable for local communities. By keeping numbers low, we help avoid overcrowding in smaller ports and allow guests to interact with local people in a more meaningful and respectful way.
