1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The beauty of northern Greece in May was incredible. We were completely
surprised by how green it was and the abundant wild flowers. Two archeological sites we visited were made all the memorable because of this.
2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Visiting Greece in Springtime is definitely worth it. Less crowds as well! Having a local travel agent was incredibly useful in planning our trip and they had lots of insider information. They also checked in during our holiday and helped with a couple of queries. We didn’t have any major issues, but I felt that if we had had they would have been on hand to solve the problems!
3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, in particular our trek on Mount Olympus employed local guides. The
hotels we stayed at also employed local staff.
4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
It was fab. Completely different to our previous holidays and we can’t wait for
another adventure!
