Responsible Travel
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.

This trip to Bhutan includes the SDF fee which is a government fee which goes back into the development and sustainability of the country, protecting its Carbon Negative status. On this trip you will be hiking along the Trans Bhutan Trail with a local guide. The trail is equipped with signposts made from recycled waste and each of them include a QR code with a guide to the Trail Code. On all of our adventures we seek to create life-affirming experiences for hosts and guests alike. The communities and places we visit are living systems, embedded within wider ecosystems and cultures, all of which are constantly evolving and adapting to one another, and which can be greatly enriched through these encounters.People
Bhutan is a unique country with an extraordinary culture which should be preserved. The mandatory government SDF fee is included in this tour which ensures the Bhutanese population can continue to grow and strive without losing their culture to mass tourism. This tour includes a portion of the Trans Bhutan Trail, a non for profit initiative restored for the purpose of the Bhutanese community. Walking along this trail impacts the local communities and will allow travellers to ensure tourism goes back into some of the most remote areas in Bhutan. On this tour in Bhutan you will be meeting local communities each step of the way and by doing so, regenerating money into the economy. For example, on Day 5 you will stop at a local farmhouse for lunch in the small village of Phomdrong. You will also be staying in locally-owned accommodation with profits going back into sustaining their local economies. This trip employs locally owned guides and we use a local operator to ensure you get an authentic travel experience whilst helping out the communities within Bhutan.Popular similar holidays
