Drawing influence from Indian and Lebanese culinary traditions, Omani cuisine boasts a plethora of vegetarian and vegan options, catering to diverse dietary preferences.

In alignment with our commitment to supporting local economies, our partners meticulously select restaurants that prioritise locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Whether dining at cozy local eateries or partaking in wild camping experiences, our tour leaders procure food from nearby establishments, ensuring that tourism supports the prosperity of the local population.

Travelers are advised of the cultural nuances of waste management in Oman; while sorting and recycling may not be commonplace, we advocate responsible waste disposal practices. We urge travelers to minimize single-use plastics and to respectfully engage with nature, particularly during wild camping excursions, where preserving the natural environment is paramount. When enjoying the refreshing waters of wadis, we emphasise the importance of refraining from introducing any substances that may disrupt their pristine ecosystem

Our partners collaborate with tour leaders who undergo training to become adept travel specialists. All employees have undergone comprehensive retraining initiatives and many staff have been onboarded after finding themselves unemployed.

To foster broader economic prosperity within the community, our partners prioritise the employment of local guides and actively engage with cooperatives such as the Sidab Women's Association.

The Sidab Women's Association serves as a beacon for the empowerment of Omani women, providing a platform for them to congregate, craft, and market their wares, thereby enabling them to sustain their families.

In alignment with our commitment to local immersion, we facilitate stays in authentic guesthouses, directly benefiting local families.

Diversity is not just celebrated but cherished by our operating partners, who boast a workforce hailing from various Middle Eastern nations, including Oman and Lebanon. Priority is given to hiring individuals who are currently unemployed.

Furthermore, we ensure that all staff members are compensated at least the minimum wage.

Embodying inclusivity in its truest sense, our operating partners embrace individuals from diverse backgrounds, including different nationalities, races, genders, and sexual orientations, recognising this diversity as a cornerstone of their strength.

While we extend a warm welcome to the LGBTQ+ community, it's essential to respect the local cultural norms during the trip, which prohibit public displays of affection.

Please note that the itinerary involves extensive hiking and walking, making it unsuitable for individuals with mobility impairments. However, our partners are willing to tailor the experience to accommodate participants with vision or hearing impairments, depending on the severity of the condition.
