CARBON REDUCTION

On this short trip, we will use hybrid minivan vehicles and optimize our itinerary so we reduce the emissions of CO2. This allows us to travel efficiently while minimizing our environmental footprint and supporting a more sustainable form of tourism. Shorter driving distances and well-planned routes contribute to lowering fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

The food we serve is locally sourced and seasonal, and the cuisine is healthy and olive oil-based Mediterranean cuisine, featuring fish/seafood and vegetables in the coast, and meat/vegetables in the interior regions of the country. Fruits are all seasonal and sourced by our providers from local markets and local farmers, reducing the supply chain carbon impact. This approach supports local communities and ensures freshness and quality in the meals we offer to our guests.

ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE

We are committed to promoting nature-positive holidays – trips that actively help both protect and restore healthy biodiversity. We aim to raise awareness among travelers about the importance of environmental preservation.

The hotels we use are almost exclusively boutique hotels run by families who respect their local environment. These accommodations typically use recycling systems and apply strict guidelines on water management, especially given the water scarcity issues in Tunisia. By choosing such partners, we contribute to a model of tourism that respects ecosystems and natural resources. Our travelers benefit from an experience that is both authentic and environmentally conscious.

People

LOCAL ECONOMY

Local economic development is a key component of our philosophy to give back to the communities that host us. we prioritize partnerships with locally owned and independently operated businesses, particularly boutique hotels run by local families. This approach not only supports the local economy but also provides our travelers with a more authentic and enriching experience.

Our hosts often share their traditional skills, such as baking bread using ancestral techniques, crafting handmade textiles, or producing unique artisanal souvenirs. By staying in these establishments, our travelers do more than just find a place to sleep—they become part of a cultural exchange, where traditions are passed down and appreciated firsthand.

EMPLOYMENT, INCLUSIVITY, AND DIVERSITY
We are deeply committed to local employment, inclusivity, and diversity. All our employees are Tunisians, and whenever possible, we recruit local guides from the regions we visit. We highlight the efforts of young people who promote their heritage and communities, as well as women’s cooperatives that prepare delicious traditional meals and create valuable local handicrafts.
