1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

This was my first safari, and it truly was a dream come true! The most memorable part of my trip was a walking safari in Tarangire National Park, where I had a close encounter with a giraffe, one of my favorite animals! Another highlight was seeing a pride of lions napping on the picnic tables in Serengeti National Park.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

If you're a solo female traveller, like me, don't hesitate to book this trip! Everyone is warm and welcoming, and I felt completely safe and comfortable the entire time!

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes! The tour operator is a small travel company run by two wonderful, knowledgeable locals, Anne and Abu. I got the impression that their employees and the freelancers they work with, including my driver-guide, were well compensated for their skills and time. My guide was extremely mindful of maintaining a safe, respectful distance from the wildlife and avoiding disruptions to their natural behavior, while still ensuring that I had great views. He was also considerate of other safari vehicles, making sure they had enough space to observe the animals. I also especially appreciated that we used reusable water bottles instead of the single-use plastic bottles commonly provided by many other companies.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Fantastic, will be going back soon!
